Antigua in the Caribbean is a wonderful spot for a tropical vacation with your family! Home to numerous kid-friendly, all-inclusive resorts, there is sure to be something for everyone on a trip to Antigua. There are plenty of fascinating tours, such as the Rainforest Zipline Tour (for the adventurers in your family) and Jeep Safari Tours (for the animal lovers). You can take a break from the heat with a visit to D-Boat Water Adventure Park, which is installed in a ship just off-shore. It features waterslides, trampolines, banana boats, and more! If you’re in the mood for some sightseeing, check out Betty’s Hope, a restored sugar plantation with its windmill, or Nelson’s Dockyard in English Harbour, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2016. Antigua also offers an excellent children’s museum, where kids can learn what it was like to be a sailor two centuries ago and participate in interactive exhibits like rope climbing. For even more history, you can visit the famous military fortifications at Shirley Heights. The Shirley Heights restaurant and bar even hosts a family-friendly barbeque each Thursday between 4 and 8 PM. Whatever you choose to do in Antigua, it is guaranteed to be a memorable experience for your whole family!
