Montreal’s largest museum, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is located off the historic Golden Square Mile.  It is also one of Canada’s most prominent museums, offering exquisite exhibits (including permanent and traveling exhibits) on themes like Montreal couture, jewelry, glass and ceramics, and Egyptian mummies/collections, to name a few. Admission is free every first Sunday and on Wednesday evenings after 5pm.
