This world-famous fountain show can be seen from numerous points throughout the Dubai Mall, but most people choose to gather by the Waterfront to witness its grandeur. Performances are entirely free, but you could likely get a better view if you pay to enter the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk, a floating platform that brings visitors within 30 feet of the performance. Regardless of where you stand, you’ll be mesmerized by the medley of light, sound, and water emerging from the world’s tallest fountain. The show lasts about 5-10 minutes and happens every half hour from 7:30 pm to 11 pm on weekdays, and until 11:30 on weekends. There’s also an afternoon show at 1 pm and 1:30 pm.
