The Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya resort is located in a gated resort community, set within a tropical forest intersected by the crystal clear waterways of the Caribbean shoreline. Mayakoba’s golf course is a two-minute drive away. The hotel also organizes a variety of watersports like kayaking, beach volleyball, catamaran tours, private kiteboarding lessons, snorkeling, windsurfing and much more.

With 401 suites, The Fairmont this is the largest of the luxury hotel in the Mayakoba complex. 

Standard rooms offer a choice of one king or two queen beds, suitable for up to four guests. Suites have a master bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, along with a balcony. The three-bedroom residences and four-bedroom Penthouses span the full width of the buildings, capturing natural light at all times of the day and housing up to five guests. The Beachfront Casitas include butler service, additional living rooms, a second bathroom, and a rooftop with a private pool. Connecting rooms are subject to availability. 

Good Eats:

There are three restaurants and three bars across the site. 

La Laguna serves an extensive breakfast buffet each morning, but it’s also the place to be in the evenings, with a romantic lagoon-side setting and delicious Mexican food, including guacamole, ceviche and sizzling plates of rib-eye fajitas.

El Puerto offers an Asian menu with Mexican influences and ingredients, such as sushi, sashimi, and noodle dishes served alongside chipotle miso black cod and tuna tiradito. 

At Brisas, there’s excellent seafood with a beachfront view, and a breakfast selection which is just as good at La Laguna’s, but less crowded.

“Kids-Only” sections are available at select restaurants. Children 5 and younger eat for free, and children ages 6-12 eat for half price when ordering from the regular menu.
