The Pointe-à-Callière Museum is a designated national archaeological and historic site.  A self-proclaimed “museum for the whole family,” it chronicles the human history of Monreal, from its Indigenous inhabitants to the multicultural city it is today. In fact, the museum is located on the very spot that Montreal was founded! It’is home to truly exceptional architectural ruins and other exhibits that children will enjoy exploring. Guided tours and activities are offered, as are family activities. Those under 4 years of age can enter for free.
