Safety issues:
The crime threat in Aruba is generally considered low. Armed robberies and Incidents of theft from hotel rooms have been reported, but are quite rare. Valuables left unattended on beaches, in cars, and in hotel lobbies are easy targets for theft, but car theft, especially that of rental vehicles, has been reported in the past. It is also worth noting that young female travelers should travel in pairs or in groups if they choose to frequent Aruba’s nightclubs and bars. If they choose to consume alcohol, they should do so responsibly.
