Buckingham Palace is recognised internationally as the apex of national and royal celebrations. Kids will be mesmerized by the Changing the Guard ceremony which occurs each day six days a week at 11am (and 10am on Sundays). During a visit to Buckingham Palace, visitors can also view the 19 magnificent State Rooms, which are used for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. All rooms are furnished with many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection. After visiting the palace, be sure to check out St. James Park, which is a 90-acre park outside of the palace. There are picnic areas, lots of beautiful birds roaming the grass, vast open spaces for the kids to play, and a lake where you can paddle boat!
