Located just outside of Turriabla, one of the best parts about Don Porfi is the attentive service. The restaurant pays special attention to children and even has a play area with some toys while they wait. In terms of cuisine, kids can order chicken tenders and fries and parents can choose from a selection of rib-eye steaks, chicken and pork with beans, or seafood dishes. It is a bit out of the way from the city center, but worth the trip if you’re looking for authentic Costa Rican cuisine.
