Located in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue (20 minutes from downtown), this ecomuseum and the zoological park are the one and only outdoor zoo on the island of Montreal.  The Ecomuseum Zoo features a wonderful array of wildlife in natural settings. Open all year round, this is a wonderful opportunity for families to see animals like the river otter and arctic fox up close. The park also pays great attention to the wildlife unique to the Saint-Lawrence Valley surrounding Montreal. Parents can even bring a picnic to enjoy in designated areas.
