At the Limelight, all pretense is abandoned. The hotel puts its energy into the important stuff right, mainly the comfort of its guests. From the lounge to the kitchen, rooms, and concierge desk, everything has a little sprinkle of nice-and-easy on top. Limelight Lodge treats its guests like family – so don’t be surprised if we remember your first name, spouse’s birthday and favorite run the first time you return.

Why the Kids Will Thank You?

Splashing Good Times:

Thank your muscles and joints for another hard day by slipping into one of the rejuvenating outdoor hot tubs. Or, perhaps a few laps in our heated pool are just what the doctor ordered. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

Family-Fun:

Explore the Great Outdoors:

A local paddleboarding legend takes guests of the Limelight Hotel on three-hour guided lessons, with a tour of the Nature Preserve located on the East side of Aspen. The Limelight also offers the unique Aspen-Crested Butte Experience starring a stunning, six-hour through the mountains connecting the two towns, which by road are more than 100 miles apart. Additionally, there’s a paraglider available to guests who wish to paraglide in conjunction with Aspen Paragliding. Aspen Paragliding is a premier paragliding school that provides professional tandem instruction, certification and mountain/thermal soaring clinics.

Each Sunday of the summer season, locals and tourists get down to some of Colorado’s best bluegrass bands on the top of Aspen Mountain. With the Elk Mountain Range as a backdrop, great drinks and great food are available on the Sundeck, along with lots of activities for the kids. Pedal your way through Aspen’s surrounding nature and history with a complimentary cruiser bike tour led by the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) or the Aspen Historical Society. Find out how the slopes of Aspen Mountain are perfected each evening by riding shotgun in a heated snowcat.

After experiencing Inside Tracks, many guests are interested in taking a lesson from one of the Ski & Snowboard School of Aspen Snowmass pros. In partnership with the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, guests of the Limelight are able to enjoy complimentary snowshoe tours throughout the Aspen area.

Why Parents Love It:

For a quick workout without leaving the hotel, plan to visit the oh-so-convenient Fitness Room. There you’ll find elliptical machines, stationary bikes, treadmills, free weights, and a stretching area. For parents interested in music, local bands love playing the Lounge, and it makes your post-skiing, post-mountain biking, post-anything job pretty easy, too.

Snuggle Up:

Guests staying in the Standard Rooms will be inspired by stunning views of Independence Pass, Red Mountain or nearby Wagner Park. The Deluxe Rooms are more spacious but offer a similar occupancy of 2 or three guests. The Grand Deluxe Rooms, however, offers a king bed or two queen-sized beds and can accommodate a family of 3 or four. Available with either a king-sized bed or two queens, The Superior rooms have a kitchenette and can also accommodate 3 or four guests.

The Terrace Rooms are available with either a king or two queen-sized beds and a private terrace. The Aspen Suite features a separate living area with a pull-out couch and two queen-sized beds. If an additional bedroom is desired, a Grand Deluxe Room with a king-sized bed can be adjoined. The Casita Suite offers out-of-the-way privacy located adjacent to the pool terrace. Its bedroom includes a king-sized bed, a cozy sitting area, and a private bathroom. You’ll also find a well-equipped kitchen with a bar and bar stools

The Cathedral Suite features a king bed and a cozy sitting area, as well as a large private bathroom. When combined with the adjoining Deluxe Room via a private foyer, the Cathedral Suite becomes a spacious two-bedroom unit. The combined space features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, as well as a separate bedroom with a king bed and private bath, capable of accommodating up to 4 or 5 guests. The Presidential Suite offers two master bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, cozy sitting area and flat-screen.

Rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request.

Good Eats:
