The Aviary houses a unique and wonderful variety of birds from Colombia and Latin America. The birds are exhibited in a representation of their natural habitat (the Aviary has three different ecosystems! [desert, tropical rainforest, and coastal zone]). The whole family will love walking trails through these different ecosystem environments with immersive features like swamps and lakes! The National Aviary boasts 190 species of birds and roughly 2000 specimens. Touring the Aviary is a perfect mid-afternoon activity which takes around two hours to complete.
