Located on the waterfront, The Coal Pot restaurant focuses on seafood-centric cuisine. While kids are certainly well accommodated in the establishment, the ambiance is much more suited for a romantic evening out. The dining room is decorated with local artwork and dragon lilies, creating a low-lit environment ideal for a parent date night. So, leave the kids at home and grab a few Carribean cocktails while you peruse the menu. Main courses range from yellowfish tuna to Scottish salmon, with a few meat options such as New Zealand rack of lamb or surf and turf. Just remember that the portions here are no joke and you could probably do without an appetizer if you’re only moderately hungry. Save room for dessert, however, and you can try a banana split made with “special St. Lucian bananas.”
