In the warmer months, the great outdoors beckons with mountain trails for hiking and biking, golf on five nearby courses, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and fishing. The Canoe Club is stocked with complimentary kayaks, pedal boats, canoes, and more, ready to launch from Paradox Bay. Guests can also cruise in a classic Hackercraft, pontoon boat, or Ski Nautique for a fee. Back on land, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts invite the friendly competition. 

Lake Placid is also a winter wonderland for outdoor enthusiasts. Downhill skiers and snowboarders can tackle the East Coast’s highest vertical drop at Whiteface Mountain. Later on, the rustic lean-tos offer a cozy spot to gather for cognac and star-gazing by the warmth of a fire pit.

 

Rainy Day Fun:

Showing three films throughout the day, the 3D movie theater is available to Whiteface Lodge guests only on rainy days. There’s also a game room filled with air hockey, billiards, foosball, shuffleboard, ping pong and more.

modern comfort in our spacious one, two and three-bedroom suites, each with a

fully equipped kitchen. Superior, Deluxe, and Junior one-bedroom suites can house four guests with a queen-sized bed and sofa sleeper. Two-bedroom suites, whether in the Clubhouse or regular building, can house families of five or six. 

A true Adirondack Great Camp experience is awaiting guests who book a Grand Lodge Three Bedroom Suite a popular unit for large families, multi-family groups or those who simply enjoy extra space. It has a maximum occupancy of eight guests. The Clubhouse suites have a similar occupancy but are located in a different building. Perched high above the resort grounds, the Presidential Suite is the largest accommodation offered by Whiteface Lodge. This bi-level suite is available in a two, three or four bedroom configuration and can comfortably sleep six to twelve guests.

The colorful and textured flavors come to life in the dining destinations at Whiteface Lodge Resort. Kanu, its flagship restaurant, presents sophisticated Adirondack-inspired cuisine, while the Canoe Club features light fare, ideal for lunch or to recharge after a swim.
