Roadtrippers App for Your Next Road Trip

Most families will go on at least one road trip with their children (some will go on many more!) As parents, we’re used to researching our destination and planning out everything we need to make the ride as comfortable as possible. But did you know there’s an easy way to map out stops to make along the way – whether it’s for food, a unique activity or a great photo op.

The RoadTrippers app allows you to enter your starting point and destination, and things you are interested in. It then suggests points of interest along the whole route, with reviews on each and information on how far it is from your planned route. You can zoom in on any area to find interesting sites and food.

A few of the many options you can sort by are:

1. Attractions and Culture:

Amusement Parks, Children’s Attractions, Museums, Tours & Excursions, Zoos & Aquariums and more.

2. Outdoors & Recreation:

Beaches, Fall Foliage, Parks & Gardens, Swimming Spots, Trails & Hikes and more.

3. Points of Interest:

Abandoned, Architecture, Monuments, Photo Op, Public Art, Holiday Lights and more.

4. Food:

Burgers & BBQ, Coffee & Tea, Delis & Bakeries, Vegetarian and Health Food, Wineries and more.

The Roadtrippers app even includes fuel cost estimation based on your route, and allows you to search for hotels along the way, with reviews and photos. You can explore the options the app presents and save the stops that interest you. You can even invite friends to edit the trip together.

Have your older children explore the app and find locations they are interested in to really make the road trip fly by. For the little ones, it’s great to know that you can easily find a local playground on any part of your route for when you absolutely need to give the kids a break and let them run around.

We hope this tech find helps you survive, and actually enjoy, your next road trip with your family! Have you used the Roadtrippers app before? Let us know in the comments.
